I’m shocked. I work on the Lincoln Lawyer which shot a scene at Cole’s - and one of my co-workers went there just a few months ago and there were actually two couples there that went specifically to get a selfie in “the Lincoln Lawyer booth”. I had really hoped it would be part of putting it back in business. I’ll be paying a last visit soon!
Sad news As noted, “Downtown’s still rough” … we tried to go The Varnish / Cole’s on a family trip to LA a while back, but no one felt safe getting out of the Uber. Expect that may be a factor as well.
This is terrible. I wish we could fly there for a final dip.
