I met him at Ohana in Lake George and we talked about his record collection, which he allowed me to look through. I pulled out a few LPs which he played a track each from. Such a down to earth guy, and the epitomy of humble. He will be missed by very many.

I never had the pleasure or luck to have met Brother Cleve, but I have had the pleasure of reading many accounts. I am sorry to never have the opportunity to face-to-face. But I will be making this cocktail tonight, thank you sir.οΏΌ Wishing peace to his many friends and family.οΏΌ
I loved him too! I was working on a big promotion this summer and we reconnected on Zoom and via phone and text for several months. I met him years ago when he was playing keyboards for Miki Singh's band. What a huge loss. I found myself at DRINK in Boston last night, copied his recipe for his Ward Nine and shopped for the ingredients and made it tonight.
What a fitting tribute to a genuine character, or more accurately, a person of character. πΈπ€
